A half-bird half-human creature in Thai mythology. They are said to be able to move entire mountains by flapping their wings, but Kamol really doesn't want to.
He can disappear and reappear at will and does so often so that he can take naps and relax.

Strengths ►
-He can disappear and reappear at will
-He is a very powerful creature, even if he doesn't seem it by his friendly looks. His wings are said to be able to flatten mountains, but he claims he has never been able to do that and would not want to because it would disrupt the balance of things.
-He is very good at mixing elixirs and the like. He knows the right herbs to gather for what and is very good for medicinal/medical help.
-He makes friends easy because of his attitude. He listens to others and doesn't judge.
-Takes things on head-on, he is a very determined person when it comes to challenges he faces and he will not back away.
-Doesn't stress very much. He's easy-going, bro.
Weaknesses ►
-He sleeps too much. He believes that he misses out on alot of the world because he will sleep through it.
-A bit old-fashioned. He's technologically challenged, which makes it very interesting to try and find someone or something.
-Absent-minded. He often-times doesn't think much on things he should and will go into a daze.
-Cares a bit too much for family and friends sometimes. He would do anything for them to the point of death.
-Though it's a strength, it can also be a weakness that he's too easygoing.
Dreams ►
-To fly around the world
-For everyone to get along (World Peace)
-To meet Sakra one day (the one that sent the Garuda from Heaven). He wishes to feast with Sakra and would like to be allowed to prepare the banquet.
-To help the creatures he sees in captivity. He feels bad for them and feels they don't deserve it.
-World freedom
-and he dreams of pad thai late at night, if that counts?
Fears ►
-Being chained up and unable to fly. He loves the wind and doesn't want to be taken from it.
-More wars. Either spiritual or earthly. He has seen many wars throughout the years, but he doesn't like them because they throw his human friends and family into misery.
-Losing freedom. Being pinned indoors or being made a pet to obey someone else's wishes.
-Snakes (They try to bite him!) He sees them the same as the Naga (serpent creatures who are rivals with Garuda)
Personality ►
Kamol is a very polite individual. He stutters alot when he first starts talking, but gets over it and is very polite and formal after that. You'll find that he's a friendly individual.
He's a bit absent-minded alot of the time. He's very relaxed and prefers peace from the rest of the world. Often he'll do this by disappearing and taking a nap or reading a book so that nobody will bother him. He also finds himself flying alot, rather enjoying the ability to just go with the wind wherever he wants.
He tends to prefer dressing in traditional asian and indian clothes. You'll find that he's old-fashioned when he comes to electronics, he's a bit technologically-challenged.
He rather likes cooking and he's pretty good at it. He often times makes pad thai, seeing as how it's his favourite food. Anything else he makes is either very much on the spicy side or on the sweet side, but it's all really good.
He especially likes cooking for other people and will go out of his way to make something or give something he's brought with him to someone that is hungry.
His best friend is a small elephant named Toto, who he loves very much. He feeds it way too much food, so it's a bit chubby, but nobody can really blame him.
Even though he does not remember much about it, he loves discussing Sakra and Heaven with others who wish to be informed about it. He speaks with them for as long as they please and he speaks calmly. He will not speak back, but rather politely ask them to leave his temple if he is yelled at or spoken to in a rude manner.
He can get a bit touchy on politics and will often speak strictly diplomatically and very sternly.
History ►
Kamol was originally born in a sacred place called Trayastria Heaven. He does not remember much of it, because he was sent down with other Garuda at a very young age on a mission with them. He came down and he was rather pleased with the large fields he saw. kamol's curiousity led him to venture to meet the other creatures of this world. It was here that he met a miniature elephant named Toto. He stayed and talked to Toto while the rest of his group spoke with the leaders of the country's and the temples. He has been with his friend ever since. (Also. he lost the directions back to Trayastria Heaven when he strayed from the group. He has found shreds of it throughout the forest and suspects it was eaten by something.)
He had made himself a small home- a hut of sorts- where he made tea and lit incense. Toto visited often and brought him berries and other such things for making food. But as society grew around him and large cities were constructed, he was draw to temples where they took him in and let him do as he pleased. (This was more out of fear than anything.)
He did not mind talking with the people who came in the temples and he didn't mind sharing things with them, but they often appeared and then they would only come for short visits and then they will leave.
Soon, there came to be no people that even came to the temples anymore and he found himself lonely again. He still lives there and so does Toto. Every so often, a monk will come by to get wise words that Kamol is happy to share, but other than that, nobody comes to talk.
Recently, he has found himself flying more over the cities again and relaxing in forests or other small areas throughout the day. He has found he prefers the asian countries and that most of the European countries scare them due to their culture.
Sometimes he flies over them and watches, other times he joins them disguised as one of them and will talk about their new culture and things. Sometimes he is displeased by what he hears, other times he very much likes it.
Monster, how should I feel? Creatures lie here, looking through the window…
Roleplay Sample ►
Kamol had never understood why he liked flying over cities so much, but he did. Today, he has found himself over Tokyo, Japan and watching the bright neon lights. He perched himself on one of the taller buildings and began watching the people below. He rendered himself invisible so as not to attract too much attention to himself.
Kamol watched an elder woman drag a young boy own the street and a few younger girls giggling and pointing to something in the store. Ah, youth... He smiled.
But alas, it was getting late and he needed to find a much quieter place to nap.
So off he went again, with the wind. He let it carry him back to his home in his small temple. Toto greeted him by nuzzling him with his trunk and Kamol laughed. "hmmm..... did you miss me, ana?" he smiled and patted the elephant's trunk. The elephant nudged him and directed him to some berries over in a bowl for him, "hm... thank you very much, ana~" He wandered over to the bowl and smiled. His pet had brought him blueberries this time. He absolutely loved blueberries.
He walked over and began to make a dough out of some scrap flour and yest he had. He mixed the blueberries into the batter and smiled at the blue colour the dough turned from the berries.
Kamol grabbed a cup of sugar cane and ground it into the batter. Fianlly, he poured it into an old iron pan.
He put the batter in to old oven and then started his small stove with a kettle of water on top. He grabbed some herbs from a cabinet and began to grind them as well, using some scrap cloth as a teabag. He made himself some lovely green tea and sat back to sip it while waiting for the blueberry cake.
"This is going to be a good cake. Thank you so much Toto, ana~"
